About Star Time Technology Center
Our Mission
STAR TIME TECHNOLOGY CENTER is a technology based nonprofit organization that empowers low-income residents with technical skills. The center was established in Atlanta, Georgia in 2012 and has since expanded to St. Thomas, USVI. In 2021, the organization obtained property to develop into a state-of-the-art technology center to serve the USVI Community. The development of this technology center will have a positive impact on thousands of USVI community members by providing a wide range of training in Microsoft Office, Software & Hardware, Programming, Cyber Security, Web Applications, Information Systems, Networking and Fiber Optics. The center will also serve as an authorized testing center for a worldwide network of test centers and partnerships within virtually every industry that delivers high-stakes exams, empowering professions to certify and license individuals who safeguard and advance their communities across the globe. We will offer courseware, scenario-based labs, practice tests and more for Real Estate, Insurance, Construction, Barber, Cosmetology and other professional licenses and certifications.

Our Vision
Star Time Technology Center, Inc. is a technology and digital literacy training center that is in direct response to the growing number of young people that are either falling through the cracks at school or are already entangled with the juvenile court system. Our goal is to identify youths who are going to have a turbulent transition to adulthood and offer technological training; digital literacy education and a positive support system to avoid pitfalls that can derail their lives. We operate to empower the new generation to make them aware of life’s possibilities. Individuals are influenced by their support system. Star Time Technology Center, Inc. surrounds young people in a caring, inclusive learning environment.
Our Approach
Our curriculum teaches Digital Literacy Training to youths as well as seniors to include consuming, creating, and communication skills. Students will learn how to search for information, validating sources and using the internet for shopping and streaming. Our students will also learn how to email, transfer ideas to the internet by creating and uploading videos to YouTube, Power Point, etc. They will also learn Fiber Optics, Fiber Splicing, Networking, etc. Our goal is to service a wide range of clientele in St Thomas USVI and have a long-lasting positive impact on our USVI community. Our students have the opportunity to obtain certificates after completing the various curriculums.
